  • Due to different batches, some colors may vary slightly. We recommend that you purchase an additional 10 feet (approximately 3 meters) as a precaution. If you order a smaller size for repairs or require color matching, please inform us of your original order information for matching.

  • Only the 59ft glossy series comes with a plastic protective outer layer. For smaller sizes like 10ft/16ft, we will remove the outer protective layer before shipping ensure a smooth surface without air bubbles or creases. This does not affect the quality of the vinyl.

  • Pls make sure you do complete clean for the car . During application process, especially for matte or satin films, we recommend wrapping a thin soft cloth over the scraper to prevent the scraper from being too hard and damaging the film. If minor scratches occur, pls no worry, they will slowly disappear over time.

Installing PPF with precision and perfection

Installation Environment:

  • Room Temperature: 25 ± 3°C

  • Humidity: 50 ± 5% RH

  • Cleanliness: Clean, dust-free, and free of visible suspended particles

Installation Instructions:

✅ Pre Installation Tips

  • Surface Preparation is Critical:
    Wash the vehicle thoroughly to remove dirt, wax, and grease.

  • Work in a Controlled Environment:
    Install in a dust-free, well-lit area.

  • Use High-Quality Installation Tools:
    A squeegee with a felt edge, heat gun, and precision knife are essential. Avoid sharp or metal tools that could scratch the film.

✅ During Installation Tips

  • Stretch & Position Carefully:
    Aluko’s PPF is highly conformable, but use a heat gun (low-medium heat) to soften the film for complex curves. Overstretching can thin the film—gentle tension is key.

  • Squeegee from the Center Outward:
    Start in the middle and push air/water toward the edges to prevent trapped bubbles. Apply firm, even pressure to ensure full adhesion.

  • Trim Excess Film Before Final Drying:
    Use a fresh, sharp blade for clean cuts. Leave a small margin (1-2mm) near edges to avoid peeling.

✅ Care Tips

  • Allow Proper Curing Time:
    Avoid washing or heavy rain for at least 24-48 hours to let the adhesive fully bond.

  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals & Automatic Car Washes:
    For the first 2 weeks, hand wash only with pH-neutral car shampoo. Avoid strong solvents, waxes, or silicone-based products—they can damage the film’s hydrophobic layer.

  • Use Heat to Reactivate Self-Healing Properties:
    If minor scratches appear, park in sunlight or use warm water to activate the self-repairing top coat.

  • Regular Maintenance for Longevity:
    Use a PPF-safe detailer spray to maintain gloss and prevent contaminants from bonding. Inspect edges periodically to ensure no lifting occurs.
